The Yoga Standard is a mobile app and virtual membership library of workout classes that you can access from your phone, computer, iPad or cast to your tv, that hosts intentionally curated workouts to target everything you need from an empowering workout to a healthy mindset.

The Yoga Standard is a results-driven platform that’s focused on physical health and includes a personal development and mindset component. Our team believes that in order to feel your best, you have to build strength from the inside out. That’s why Brittni has infused her passion, training, and studies of personal development, health, and wellness into each class to give a full body (internal & external) experience.

Don’t worry it’s subtle, yet profound and happens to be the most ‘life changing’ aspect per some student’s feedback.

Each class at The Yoga Standard is intentionally curated to target everything you need from an empowering workout to a healthy mindset. After signup you’ll be guided to start with a 30 day challenge which begins with a beginner class focused on understanding & learning movements, names, and modifications and continues alternating classes that build on each other. After the 30 day challenge (or instead of) you have a weekly schedule (M-F) that is intentionally designed to help you target everything. Finally, you also have the option to cherry pick your classes from the class styles menu if you already know what you want & need!

THE BURN™

Spicy and fun with two intentions: get inspired and burn calories! We take the guesswork out of the BURNING question that we all ponder when sweating… “is it worth it.”

This results-driven class infuses yoga, cardio, and positive affirmations to not only change your physical body but, more importantly, your life. We look at our body as a vessel to inspire other aspects of our lives and take this as an opportunity to remind ourselves that we are limitless! Don't worry, there's always a low-impact option! Water, towel & dance parties are highly recommended!

TYS SCULPT

You may have heard of Yoga Sculpt or even tried it, but not like this. Our fusion of yoga, weights, isometric exercise, cardio, and epic beats is a non-stop party that will have you begging for more! We begin and end each class with yoga to utilize the physical and mental transformative qualities and incorporate hand weights and bands throughout the class to tone and define your physical body. TYS Sculpt is a carefully structured class with our unique science-based methodology to invigorate and get you the best results possible in a safe and supportive environment. 

THE FLOW

In our signature class inspired by Power Yoga and Vinyasa, we curate an upbeat playlist to keep you inspired and in the moment. We love to switch it up with creative sequences, and take time to break down fun postures that you can practice playfully at home. Beginner or advanced, this class gives you the opportunity to grow at your own pace & I am there to motivate you to find your inner potential.

Brittni Soo, your instructor and founder of The Yoga Standard, shares her lifelong passion of yoga, fitness, nutrition and wellness as a yoga teacher and Ayurveda Wellness Counselor.

Brittni has a 500 hr RYT yoga certification with a yoga extension masters in both yoga and yoga sculpt. Born and raised in San Diego she moved to SLO (San Luis Obispo) to cultivate community and teach. Her classes are just as much alignment based as they are fun and her MO is maximizing the time on your mat to remember your infinite potential. No matter what class you take, you can expect to flow to the beat of the music and have a life changing breakthrough with a belly laugh or a a yummy dose of happy tears.

  • Power Flow Yoga Class, Yoga Sculpt, and the TYS trademarked method class called The Burn™. See class descriptions above.

  • It is recommended to begin the program with the 30 day challenge which begins with a beginner class focused on understanding and learning movements, names, and modifications and continues alternating classes that build on each other. For example, if one day we do a sculpt class focused on X then the next day we’ll do a power yoga class where we can refine and lengthen those muscles, and then a Burn™ to target different muscle groups and finish you’re week of with a full body routine and end with 2 rest days (sat & sun) to restore muscle function.

    After the 30 day challenge or instead of you have weekly schedules (M-F) with curated classes to ensure you’re targeting everything.

    The last option is a cherry picker style where if you already know what you want/need you can select your class styles from the menu and go!

  • You can do this by yourself at home or have a friend join you, but no matter what you’re never alone-- I do the FULL class with you and one of my students said “it’s like working out with your best friend.” That means I make it FUN.

  • The Yoga Standard is a results driven platform that’s focused on physical health BUT I’ve also included a personal development and mindset component. Inside the app you’ll see audio meditations, tried and true recipes, and more coming soon!

  • Some classes include a link to my Spotify playlist which houses hand-picked songs for each movement. Our newer classes include music within the video so no need to hook up Spotify!

  • I always recommend that my students attach a tiny ritual to their practice. A ritual is a little activity that helps you reconnect with your higher self or goals. Half the time we find excuses because we forget why we’re doing it in the first place, this is the opportunity to reconnect to that WHY.

    A ritual can look like: setting an intention or affirmation, lighting a candle or diffuser, journaling, pulling an affirmation card, etc. Trust me, add this tiny step to your practice and you’ll feel more inspired and motivated to get moving each day.

    If you signed up for your membership via your mobile app store, you must cancel through them.

    If you signed up for your membership through our website, login to your account, click Manage Subscription at the top, click Manage Subscription, and choose to cancel or pause your membership.

    If you’d like to cancel before your trial ends, be sure to do these steps before your 14 days are up, otherwise you will be charged depending on if you chose a monthly or annual subscription when registering.
