How many people is this written for?
All of the recipes show you exactly how many servings is in each meal. You’ll find the dinner recipes have more (3-4) so you can feed your housemates, save for a quick lunch the next day or freeze for future meal emergencies when you're thinking about diving into a bag of chips.
You can also easily increase or divide the recipe portions to make it fit for you, but you already knew that!
Will I lose weight?
I’m not a fan of “diets” nor do I subscribe to strict eating guidelines. We've all already done that 1000 times and know the outcome; quit or binge as soon as it’s over. I wrote this meal plan with macronutrients in mind and knew it was imperative to create meals that actually taste GOOD enough to serve at a dinner party. If you have weight to lose, then your body will quickly begin to adjust to this balanced meal plan. The intention is to create a balanced and healthy relationship with your meals as fuel and recalibrate your own body’s intuition for what it needs. You’ll find everything from eggs and toast to my famous warm buttered pecans.
What dietary restrictions does this follow?
There are a lot of labels out there that claim to be the ONLY diet you should follow. You will find paleo recipes along with vegetarian and OMG carbs! If you fall into a specific category you will find recipes that cover everything. My goal for you is to get to know your body for its beautiful and specific needs by taking the guesswork out of ‘what to eat’ the next 6 weeks by having everything laid out for you but also reminding you that swapping out recipes with your healthy favorites is 100% encouraged!
